Minor Sports

Pupils are encouraged to participate in a new sport, something they haven’t tried before, or work on improving their skills in one of the many minor sports available.

Aldenham FivesFives
Aldenham School boasts six Fives courts. A Fives Club with specialist coaching takes place in the Activities sessions every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the year. The main fixtures are played in the Lent term against schools such as Eton, Westminster, Highgate, Mill Hill, Berkhamsted and RGS High Wycombe.
Aldenham SailingSailing
Sailing is run on Tuesday afternoons throughout the year at Aldenham Sailing Club in the nearby Country Park. Sailing is a sport where boys and girls can compete on an ‘even keel’ at School level. We teach beginners and novices as well as coaching more advanced students with a view to competition in inter-school team racing regattas regionally.
