Sailing is run on Tuesday afternoons (and Thursdays in the summer term)  throughout the year at Aldenham Sailing Club in the nearby Country Park. Sailing is a sport where boys and girls can compete on an 'even keel' at School level. We teach beginners and novices as well as coaching a squad with a view to competition in inter-school team racing regattas regionally, nationally and, on occasions, internationally. As well as the dingy sailing in our fleet of six 420 boats and two Firefly Boats, we take to the open seas and run trips to the UK Sailing Academy at Cowes on the IOW where we charter yachts. Within the School Sailing Club there is room for those who are competitive and wish to race as well as for those who just wish to learn a new sport and skill set.
