The school celebrated harvest time in fine style by organising a collection for Watford New Hope Trust, a charity which cares for and supports the local homeless. The charity's school liason officer, Julie Dunster, gave the school an insight into their work during a chapel service whose focus was an extraordinarily large amount of groceries. The whole school community were involved and students from 3-18 yrs brought gifts. Later in the term, Leeman's praes will be organising a clothes collection for the same charity, so if you have unwanted items hanging in your wardrobe, next half term will be an ideal time to pass them on!
