Welcome from the Head of the Prep School Aldenham Preparatory School (IAPS) offers day education for boys and girls from 3-11 to develop and thrive in a small, caring environment. Few schools can boast of such a long history as Aldenham. Founded in the 16th Century, the school has been educating children for over 400 years! However, this is a particularly stimulating time within that long history, as we are able to offer seamless continuity of education from the Nursery to the Senior School. The Preparatory School encompasses the Nursery, from the term of the third birthday, the Pre-Prep Department (4-7 years old) and the Prep Department (7-11 years old).
