A group of CCF cadets from Aldenham School and Queen’s School Bushey accompanied History Teacher and House Tutor at Aldenham Mr John Lewes, Honorary Member of the Welsh Guards Association, to Wellington Barracks for the Remembrance Sunday Service in the Welsh Guards Chapel.
Before the service, the Colonel of the Regiment, HRH Prince Charles met the Welsh cadets. He is pictured here with the cadets from Aldenham and Queen’s School before they and their officers marched to the Cenotaph where His Royal Highness presented the Regimental wreath.

At the same time other members of the partnership CCF took part in the annual Remembrance Day service in Letchmore Heath where the Aldenham School brass band provided the music and the Headmaster laid a wreath on behalf of the School
On 11 November the bell was rung 288 times at the Remembrance Service in the School Chapel as tribute was paid to the 288 Old Aldenhamians who had perished in past conflicts.
