· Educating children since 1597

· 1877 – 1899 school grew from 47 – 175 pupils with a major building programme

· 1980 girls joined the Sixth Form

· 1993 Junior House added for boys of 11+

· 1997 Design & Technology Centre opened

· 1998 Artificial Turf Pitch opened

· 2000 new Music School and Pre-prep School opened

· 2003 Prep school for boys and girls opened and some blocks converted for use as Martineau's House (for Junior boys 11 +)

· 2004 girls joined at 11+

· 2005 Richard Platt Building opened

· 2007 Theatre transformed into a state of the art performing arts centre

· 2008 Kennedy's House converted to accomodate growing numbers of boys and girls in Martineau's House and to provide Junior Boarding Facility.

· 2010 Estates and Storage building opened

· 2011 Woodrow Music Suite (Prep School) and new School Shop opened in former Maintenance Building following conversion

· 2012 The Wells Centre opens to provide a modern new Sixth Form Centre and enhanced music facilities
