• The school has 6 full sized football pitches located  at Cookes field.
• On top field there are 3 further pitches with three five a  side or training areas 
• Each team has a regular member of staff to help coach and run the side
• Football is the major boys sport in the Christmas term
• Bi-annual football tours; 2010 U15s and U18s went to Real Madrid

The school 1st XI competes in the Boodle Cup (for all ISFA schools) in the ISFA Sixes and the ISFA Southern Schools' League.  In recent years we have had success in all three competitions, getting to the quarter final stages in the two nationals and finishing as runners up in the Southern Schools' League.  Individually the school has had representatives in the full ISFA team as well as several ISFA southern school representatives.  It is also possible to play in the second term for the old boys' team. For the last four years our footballers have enjoyed a Spanish pre-season tour to Valencia in 2006, Villarreal in 2007 and Deportivo La Coruna in 2008.  In 2009 they trained at Chelsea and Fulham to prepare them for the new season.  In October 2011 the 1st XI and U15 squads travelled to Real Madrid.
