For some years we have had an ambition to create a dedicated space for the Sixth Form and to further enhance our music facilities beyond the limits of the current Music School.

In September 2011 the Master of the Brewers' Company, Mr David Thompson turned the first sod for a new development that will be named The Wells Centre.

The Wells Centre project includes the development of our new Sixth Form Centre and the brand new Link Building that connects the Sixth Form Centre to the existing Music School. The new facility will provide extra space for our older students to learn and relax together and there will an upper floor area for holding meetings and recitals.

The whole project including the new building will be completed by June 2012 and will cost £2.3 million. We would like to raise £350,000 of this cost from donations and other giving.

We are looking for the support of parents, OAs and friends of the school in helping us to achieve our vision.
