The School has a well equipped Medical Centre with a full time Nurse on hand to treat minor ailments and injuries on a 24 hour basis. Health education, as well as support and advice is available for all students and is an important part of the service. The School Doctor holds a daily surgery at the School and is available for advice in between visits. All pupils receive a medical screen on entry and the option to take part in the School's immunisation programme which includes all relevant vaccinations for each age group.  An Optician visits the School once a year to provide free eye tests for new pupils and check ups as appropriate. Appointments with a highly qualified Sports Therapist can be arranged when required. There is also an Independent Counsellor who will see pupils wishing to discuss issues in confidence.
