 An Aldenham team of three pupils and one teacher beat off fierce competition from 14 other Independent Schools including Bedford and Millfield in the Independent Schools Golf Association’s one-day competition at The Shire London on 15th October, to walk away with 2 trophies; the Best School Team winners and the coveted Best Individual Boy cup which was won by Sixth Former, Matthew Wallace who smashed the Junior Course Record and equalled the overall course record.
Congratulations to our three pupils, whose combined scores secured the Scratch Cup; they are the current Under 18 Hertfordshire Captain Matthew Wallace (17), Will Kirby (14) and James Memory (16). This win follows the School’s earlier success this summer when another team, also led by Matthew Wallace, qualified for the ISGA National Finals where they were placed 4th overall with Matthew achieving a Gold medal. |
