Professional Harpist Sarah Goss and her student, Year 10 pupil Alastair Heald, performed an enjoyable programme of solos and duets, in the School Theatre, for an audience of Parents, Old Aldenhamians and Governors and School Staff, to celebrate the arrival of the new Salvi Daphne Harp.  The purchase of the new Salvi Daphne 47 E Harp was made possible by generous donations to the Aldenham Annual Fund and we are extremely grateful to donors for their generosity which has enabled us to provide a first class instrument for the enrichment and enjoyment not just of our music department but the whole school.

For the second year running we have been delighted with the response to the Annual Fund. So far this year, as well as the harp, we have been able to purchase two new Firefly Dinghies, a Wind Turbine which we hope will power the new maintenance building, Digital Language Laboratory Software, Digital Cameras for the Prep School, a CD Player specifically designed for Dance and a Tennis Tutor Machine. We will also make a significant contribution to bursary provision.
