The GCSE Drama Performances delighted both the audience and the examiner with a range of shows, from the opening Irish Comedy The Lonesome West to the closing piece of Theatre of the Absurd Waiting for Godot. Other plays included a Commedia dell'arte interpretation of Chaucer's The Pardoner's Tale, gritty social realism from Closer and hilarious comedy from Stags and Shakers. All students performed well, but a special mention must go to Joseph Stephenson and Hendrik Van Vuuren who both achieved full marks.
